hey all,

this is for anyone who is wanting to share a seedbox with me,

i have a .lu server which im willing to share with a max of 6 people including me ...

this server can keep up very very good speed (i when pushing it i can get it to 11.1mb/s up and down which can get you an easy ratio ^_^

i will only accept a max of 6 people and if the costs are covered before thoses 6 people well everybody will benifit ... more speed to go around, more hdd space, more ram etc

this will work out a lot cheaper than any decent seedbox host.

you will be able to use any client you want (i currently use utorrent but i do have tflux and rtorrent installed and ready to be used). your files will be locked out of everybody else and will be yours to control

for remote access you will have the option of VNC or NX depending on your needs you can choose whichever also ssh will be possible and you will have your own ftp

if a lot of people are interested i will look at getting a second server for people as i would be giving these at a much lower price than normal seedboxes ....

as i said its a .lu which means its hosted in Luxembourg (Europe)

as for price there is two ways im willing to do it ... just depends on the people the first way is well plans ... ill post those below and the second way is just that i divide the space by the people

if it goes by plans i will still end up giving people more space etc ...

as for bandwidth its unlimited ^_^, speed... 11.2mb/s both ways (100mbs connection) and active torrents are as many as you want (within reason ofc)

Sorry, didnt read correctly and didnt "see" the .lu

thx for the post, but 30 USD / 40 GB is to much for me.
 
You guys can jump into our sharing queue at SeedWave if LU fails due to high cost of setup.

And its OVH box, so the price would be less then 1000 for sure. And it comes down. because of 1 time setup fee.

Currently we just managed to graduate 3rd batch of newbs.

If we go for 3rd server, it will be a pain unless some one helps me and zander manage.

And invites for seedwave open when Zander returns from Singapore soon.

Did you have a good connection in Bangalore to FR?

I have only a shi+ connection from Kerala (Asianet) to GE/FR

Whats the problem with xirvik, i believe that i have read xirvik in this thread...
 
lol, we are not web hosting for providing test. its a ovh dedicated server shared equally among 7 users in every aspect. and so no extra users where you can perform tests. Its a 100/100 Mbps server.

Seedbox n00bs can upload 2TB in a month.

Advanced users can manage 6TB of upload a month with the same box.
