Sega released a new music toy pet called the iFish in Japan.
The iFish joins the hot selling iDog music dog. As the name implies the iFish has the shape of a fish. Sega's new iFish can move its tail and also 'swim' around on your desk on two wheels.
It has 50 built-in 'healing' (ocean sounds, etc.) music tracks. A sensor reacts to movement and generates light effects on the iFish head. Connected to an MP3 player the fish reacts to the beats as the iDog is doing.
Hong Kong based gadget store Brando is selling the iFish for $64.90 and ships internationally. This is a pre-order, the iFish ships 3rd week of January 2006. See also the Sega iFish site (Japanese).
