Storage Solutions Segate 500GB hard disk Problem

I am using C2D E4400 and Intel 965RY Board and a 250GB Segate (7200.9)

I bought a hard disk(7200.11) in November 2008, and it worked for around 20 days and stopped working and I got a replacement from the Segate. And now I am replaced for around 4 times every time I connect the hard disk to the computer I am able to format the hard disk once and continuing to install the OS it doesn't work. Can anyone Help me Please:S
 
Could it possibly be an issue with your system? Do you have any other hard-disks on your system or have you tried this on another system to check?

Ok man I will try to connect to other system
 
it could be a problem with your psu. not enough power to support more than a hdd + dvd drive. 4 replaced drives = problem with your system.
