though I find the idea stupid..

if implemented, users should not have to pay to ban themselves... should hav ability to ban them selves for free :D...

nickels can be put to better use...

best option is to Just ask the mod to ban u for 2 weeks b4 exams
Mods are always very eager to show of their power ......believe me they will :P
i myself is a mod of a yahoo grp for It department of my cllg .. and i love banning ppl .. he he ..
 
^^but that might look like i was banned for misbehaving or something .. i want it to be a "self ban" so people know i have done it myselves and for some reason.
 
the mods here are not there to ban you and unban you on your whims and fancies. They have much more important responsibilities.

There was a guy earlier on TE whi wanted to be banned coz he wanted to study for his IIT JEE.... but the mods declined....
