Forum Feedback Self "BAN" option please !!

I dont think self-ban is a good option, if you can ban urself, u can even unban urself....the only way out is if a mod bans you, and u'll have to do some insane stuff to get banned by the mods...

Rather than a self ban, i suggest a Ban from friends/well wishers, after approval from Mods!!hyeah:

I ended up chatting with Mohit on msn for quite a few hours, a few days back!!hyeah:
And he asked me about the self ban thing and i asked him to exercise some self restraint, at least when he has to study!!

And knowing the schedule of engg students in Mumbai and exam time, i assumed he must be busy with viva/submission just like blueyesdude is, here in Mumbai!!

So i asked him- when do exams start?

He says- Chal rahe hai!!

I have been feeling so miserable since , that the next time i met him online, i said- hi, all the best and buzz off!!

For such addicts, i propose a ban!!hyeah:

And Mohit:cool2: , like many others will tell you:ashamed: , when you are free- not supposed to be studying or giving exams - we can chat/talk for hours on end about anything in this whole wide universe!!:rofl:

read my first post .. the person opting for a self ban cant unban himself or even the mods cant unban him for the period of 2 weeks. he does it at his own risk.

uhh as rio suggested mods can ban u for a week or 2
wat ur concerned is of the mesg tht will appear under ur name as "Banned" well MODs can edit the messages.. like give a custom title "Self Ban" / "On Request Ban" ....personally i dont think anyone will use the ban if given the power... if u can ban urself tht easily i dont think theres much trouble in resisting visiting TE if admins give out each n every power <periodically> to general users then whts the use of moderators neways :tongue:
