Fellas, need to rent out a car in Delhi from the 26th of Dec to 4th Jan..
There'll be 6-8 of us so was thinking of getting a Innova

Checked with Hertz and they are out of Innovas, and can offer an Ikon (too small), or an endeavor (too expensive)

Are there any other professional rental agencies in Delhi that do rent out Self drive cars?
 
Avis seems bloody useless

Their Intl site gave me a 30K quote

The India site gave me a 40K quote

So I tried calling their 1800 #, 10 mins of hold time and no response (not even a "Welcome to Avis" spiel, 1/2 a ring and then music)

Then i called their Delhi airport # (landline and contact person's cell #) but no response

Bloody weird

There is another agency called eco rent a car who gave me a 25K quote for this 10 day period

The hertz lady said she'll check the availbility of an Innova and call back

I'd take Hertz over eco rent a car though if they get back promptly
