My friend got sempron 140 for my friend's download rig, which he would get ready this weekend. I took it from him to test it
I could unlock the processor and its prime,occt,linx stable on stock.Actually I could easily overclock it to 3.7GHZ @1.475V.
One issue is, if I enable cnq my system just freezes when it tries to lower clock speed. Same behaviour at stock and overclocked. What do you guys think, problem with bios or processor?
I am planning to buy an athlon II processor for my htpc, should I keep it? As my friend couldn't unlock(got nvidia chipset based mobo), or try another sempron?

I could actually get to 3.8 but requires > 1.5V.
And my cpu temps are rather good at 45 degrees
