Sennheiser, a company known for their outstanding headphones, have announced a new Bluetooth wireless headset. The BW900 Bluetooth wireless headset will work with desktop and Bluetooth compatible mobile phones. When used with a desktop telephone Sennheiser promises ranges of around 100 meters, though it doesn’t say how the headset will connect to regular telephones. The range drops down to 10 meters when used with Bluetooth and a mobile phone which should be plenty of distance for most mobile users.

It also features “adaptive intelligence†noise reduction which was developed in-house by Sennheiser. Adaptive intelligence is slightly different from typical noise reduction algorithms as it can optimize volume levels on the fly depending on the surrounding noise levels.

The BW900 feature a hot swappable battery in case the battery runs low in the middle of an important phone call. Pricing is expected around $250 and users should be able to purchase it now in the UK.

Yes, but I doubt most mobile phones can provide the quality of sound output worthy of $250 headphones (bluetooth or otherwise)

but the sound quality of a grado headphones are 10 times better than sennheisers ....

LOL it depends on what sort of stuff you listen to... The grados seem to have more detail but according to many, they are ultra bright and borderline noise. The sennheisers are more laid back. You can't really say one is better than the other. Its like comparing a ferrari with a maserati. Both are great in their own right. I've never heard a grado but then I'm definitely gonna buy an RS-1 sometime.
