Sennheiser HD497 - repairs needed?

Hi. My 3 year old Sennies seem to be acting up. Only getting sound through one 'phone. Confirmed that it's the wire which is acting up.. switching the plugs from one 'phone to the other causes the other one to work.

What can I do about this? Anywhere I can get replacement L/R plugs in Bombay?
 
^ Shouldn't be a problem if its only the 3.5mm jack acting up. You'll get a gold plated jack for like 450, get it soldered by a pro and your good to go!
 
Well I presume they were not bought in India. Try checking up with Gautam Agencies Pune, they are official distributors, they should offer paid service too.
