these are not the in ear type, so really wont provide any noise isolation as such. and that will be where it will lag behind the ep 630

I have the mx500 which i had got from mumbai for 500 bucks and to my not so audiophile ears they sound great overall.

They are better sounding in the mid range and trebble dept, but will lose to the EP-630 in the bass dept. (If you like muddy base that is. Most people do !)

But noise isolation is really nice for most people and that is where the Sennhesier will lose miserably. If you listen in a quiet environment, then get the Senns, if not the EP-630.

bah! I hate the bass response of ep630,overshadows other sounds and sone songs\genres sounds so bad on them.But the main point is noise isolation which truly rocks.:>

i know the eps have better noise isolation

but thats not really a good thing if ur riding n stuff

Well sale was goin on thn....no sale now....so not sure....

the less expensive Sennheiser with better looks were priced more thr :p

but looking at actual specs and MRP made me choose this for my sis
