Just posting the pricelist for Sennheiser headphones from Gautam Agencies in Pune. He delivers to Mumbai as well.

The prices though are very high (only 7% discount) . How come the Delhi dist sell Senns for much cheaper ? :huh:

Thanx for the efforts buddy ... but the prices are way too high, even sound out stocks the sennheiser these days and the prices are a bit lower with a years warranty I think
 
Actually Sound Out is grey market ! You dont get any warranty with the product. However Gautam Agencies is the official distributers of Sennheiser products and all headphones come with a 2 year national warranty.

However there is another distributer in Delhi who sells the Sennheiser headphones for much less. For e.g. the Sennheiser HD 555 sells for just 5300 or so in Delhi, while here it is 8200 approx. Thats a HUGE difference !
 
He told me I'd get a years warranty iirc :) ... infact last time I'd been to lammy saw a few dealers stocking the senns too ... though I've no idea about the pricing
 
Yeah at least the guys in Lammy must have a diff dist coz they are also selling official stuff for less. But they have limited variety - Best you can do is a Senn HD 212 pro for 3500 or a HD 497 for 3400.

I wish we had that delhi guy selling to Mumbai !
 
maybe we should forward this price list ( converted in $ ) to sennheiser to show what kind of rates we are being offered and they might take up the case with this distri / reseller ... insane amounts :hap5:

a friend of mine had mentioned to me there is a sennheiser showroom in chennai ... didnt enquire much but is it true ?

Do they ship to India? if so can you provide me the link from where you bought yours? what about the customs duty if shipped to India?
 
The problem with shipping is that we may have to pay custom duties. That would raise the price a lot !
 
Nah, the shipping is payed while making the order at ebay even if international.

Duty would only be imposed if you're getting in some heavy duty hardware I guess.

I made up my mind for PMX 100. What's the big different between these two?

Also getting a deal in Ebay USA from a reputed seller for headphones for around Rs.2800 for PMX 100.
