How do you change the servers..if i uploaded my site into one server,later i know its going to be closed, or for some other reason i want to host my site on a new server..How will i transfer my site and its configuration to the new server?

well you'll have to download and upload the files basically i.e, download from the older server and upload to new server. The configurations u'll have to redo to match the new server settings. Now there are some configurations which are independent of server, u can re-use those settings. These settings are usually stored in some config files which you'll need to transfer.

For direct server to server transfers, you can use any FTP client.
