We've been having huuge fluctuations here and its been severely affecting the electrical equipment at home. Right from my modem disconnecting every 10 minutes to the Plasma developing snags and the microwave oven showing damage due to unsteady power supply.
Now basically, its a big house, and a 2kVA inverter powers one fan and one light in every room (4 bedrooms + the hall, kitchen, dining, living room, vehranda, etc) along with the UPS for my server and some other stuff.
Now what I want to do is stabilize the entire house, so basically the main line is stabilized.
1. What should I be looking at? A Servo controlled stabilizer or a new Sine Wave Inverter itself?
Uncle was saying that the inverter wont work as there are 5ACs, 3 refrigerators, 3 TVs, plus the washing machines etc to run.
So essentially I need a large Servo controlled stabilizer, right?
2. In that case, what brands should I be looking at?
3. How effective are these devices in reducing fluctuations to the absolute bare minimal?
4. Also, roughly what capacity should I be looking at, assuming 4ACs plus a bunch of fans, lights, fridges, TVs, etc would be running simultaneously?
5. And what price range would this fall in?
And last but not the least, thank you very much!
