what settings do i need to put in the rouer settings page?

another thing...can people snoop on ur wireless connection and see whats going on?

thanx in advance

there are more than a few encrytption methods...like WPA personal,enterprise,WPA2 ....can u guys tell me which one to use?im quite paranoid about security..any help would be appreciated.

WPA Personal is more secure, but you need to make sure that your wireless computers support it. WinXP SP2 and above have built-in support for WPA. Any OS before that and you'd need to download some or the other patches from Microsoft's support site. Also, your wireless adapter would need to support WPA. Most of the new adapters do, so that shouldn't be an issue. I wouldn't really suggest WEP because it's a static key and can be cracked in a less than an hour! And 128bit WEP just adds more network overhead and tends to slow down the wireless connection.
