SGS GRPS Issue (Airtel)

Guys,

Anyone here knows AIRTEL GPRS (Mumbai) settings for SGS? The airtel cc do not have any knowledge on this have spoken and wasted a lot of money with them but no use. I tried following an online instruction but whenever I save those settings they do not get saved. The APN remains completely blank. I' running 2.2 if that matters by any chance. Also is the Samsung Galaxy S GPRS offer for six months still on with AIRTEL??
 
Here are the settings I have in Karnataka for Airtel GPRS, should work for mumbai as well. If you cannot save them, try downgrading as Samusng pulled Froyo because of some bugs, might be one of those

Mobile Office

APN NAME : Mobile Office

APN: airtelgprs.com

MCC: 404

MNC : 45

APN type: internet

All other fields are None/Not set
 
I've tried that doesn't help. It only gets saved if I don't change the MMC value. Is there any failsafe settings for either of these providers listed in the oder of their preference

1. Reliance

2. Airtel

3. Vodafone

4. Docomo
