For sale is a SGS II which was purchased from UK. The phone does not have local warranty. Using the phone with a CaseMate silver case. There are a few smudges on the phones. The phone has a small problem, the phone does not take signal without a copper wire.

It can be easily repaired from samsung service center. I dont have time to get this done.

Asking price is 15k. (will bundle a 16GB microSD along with this.

Item location is Pune. Would prefer local pickup. Have the original box and accessories.

Does the copper wire come bundled with the phone.. :)

Phone without warranty. With smudges and with no signal.. For 15 k... Serious

no reception without copper wire is a BIG problem , i dunno whats a big problem if this one is small for you, 15k is still a good amount you are asking , what does the phone come with ?

Just for the information Guys! This is a very serious issue. Copper wire is a temporary solution for the network issue. Actually, the antenna of the cellphone is attached with the motherboard and if something wrong goes with the antenna then technicians uses copper wire to resolve network issues. Mine Samsung galaxy S network antenna goes kaput and it costs really expensive to me. It took around 25 days and Rs.2500 [Thats for samsung galaxy S] Sorry to say but this is not an easy job to repair antenna easily, there is 30% chance of cellphone motherboard to be kaput becoz antenna is soldered with mothered during repair.

I suggest, don't post something you don't know.

Coming to the topic, that copper wire has no solders nothing, it's just a plugin cable.

How do I know it? Well.. Unfortunately my S2 had yellow patch issue and during screen replacement under warranty, he forgot to fit the copper wire back and my phone didn't show any signal

and on inspecting he found the cable was missing, luckily I was there sitting next to him and found a small copper wire near the table that he forgot to fix and pointed it out to him, he placed it back, it's just a simple plugin cable.

@OP

It should not be a problem if just the copper wire is the issue, but my doubt is, how did it even come out, why was the phone opened in the first place??

well both have posted different cases, the OP's situation maybe different, its an expensive phone, im sure the OP mustve attempted repair, selling would be a last resort as always. It makes more sense if you can come clean to ensure both parties are happy with the sale.

@sriharsha_m: Did you see the listing carefully, because whatever cable you are talking about is not the one seen in last picture. And IMHO bodmas has a right opinion.

^^

Even my phone had similar cable, it wasn't covered by plastic sheath as in the teardown pics.

Let's just wait for the OP to answer what actually went wrong with the phone.
