I played shank on Xbox 360. It was awesome! What i really dig about this game are its graphics. I love the cartoonish-comic style layout and characters. Gameplay is decent, but not too great. I mean I would pick up old school Megaman any day over it. Boss fights are a bit too tough, but I guess its overcompensation for the relatively easy missions during the rest of the game.

All in all 8/10 for the sheer entertainment value.

I would like to try out the PC version now. Any idea where and how to get it?

It's out on Steam for $14.99. I wanted to try this title right when it released on the 360, but then it was announced for the PC as well, so decided to wait. It's raining Arcade games this month. I love beat-em-ups and this game has a very comic style touch to it, which I dig. All that gameplay footage really looked kick-ass. If this features offline co-op, then it's more win for me. But the length is a slight bit of concern to me. Is it true that it's 3 hours long only?

Yes. Its a very very short game for that much money. But if you are a believer in the fun of it, which I believe you are, then it will be worth it. One of the better XBLA games I played this year without a doubt.

Completed the first level before coming to work & defeated the fake Butcher boss. The game is superb. I'm saving this one for co-op as well. Good thing it features an offline co-op. Grab it now guys, it's great looking side-scroller beat-em-up title.

Playing on the PC - At the level where you meet the actual Butcher. Tough Bastid to beat :P

I love 2D arcade games. Shall definitely give this a try! :)

When was the last time I played a good 2D title. Claw perhaps. :P

Old school beat-em-up is always a win. Peeps who have enjoyed the old NES titles like Double Dragon and it's clones will know this games worth.

Haha Double Dragon was kick ass back then. Damn I could still hum the tune of it. :D

You can load the NES emulator on your PS3 now and watch it blow off in full 1080p. MUHAHAHAH!

You can find hundreds of NES games on vNES.

Reminds me of my childhood days(though I'm not still very old. :P) Contra rocks! ;P

Shank is just awesome, but the price is a bit high max should be 8-10$

Played the first few levels and this is so much fun. Esp. the combos. Grab, plonk a grenade in his mouth and BAAM, grab a guy, shove a shotgun into his mouth, BAAM, grab the minigun and slaughter away! :lol:

Landed on the train now. :D

Just completed the game. Pretty short one I must say (clocked 3:12 hours) but nonetheless an awesome TP. Loved playing it thoroughly. Brought back some good old memories of playing Spartan X and Double Dragon. Boss battles were pretty good - unless you figure out how to take out the guy, it is almost impossible to take him down in the first shot. Soundtracks were good. :)

I think I should get back to Condemned: Criminal Origins now. :P
