Share internet from PC to Android using usb?

Is it possible to share the internet on PC to Android 2.2 or Samsung Ace 2 using usb cable, not wifi?

That's not possible. Better get a WiFi Router or what @kartikoli suggested.

it is possible in the new htc handsets.when you connect with usb you get different optios one of which is to use the internet connection of the pc with the phone.i think its a feature of sense 3.0 and not android.i am not sure whether this feature is available on the galaxy 2.
