Hello.

Not sure if it comes under hardware or software. I want to know how can I transfer files between my laptop and pc. My pc is connected to a wifi router and has no internal wifi chips etc. The laptop is of course capable of wireless connection.

Is it possible to share data through the wifi router? As I use same internet connection for both laptop and pc, there's no need for crossover ethernet cable, right?

Thanks!

yeah its easy. Just install shareit/feem/any send and you can send files as long as both pc are connected to same wifi network

This app still exist !!! a very old, prob. a decade old developed application right, good it to see it back!!
yes :)
new version (PC) has many new function but i'm sticking to the old version 2.x.x.

Its the best alternative of AirDrop , where airdrop refuse to go over 1mbps transfer speed this respect my wifi bandwidth and transfer ~20-30mbps , and roughly 60mbps when wired.

You can use Shareit, ShareFile, Dropbox Business, Google Drive, SharePoint, WeTransfer etc.

Just put them in the same network and share folders. You don’t need any other software if you are on same local network.
