I had offer in my account few weeks ago. Not anymore. 5500/6 will be a steep increase from last year's price. So I'll wait for some offers (if they come at all).
 
Can you try going to Amazon Pay > Subscriptions > Microsoft 365, I can see a family plan at Rs. 4950 with a Rs. 1000 cashback offer.
 
i have a genuine doubt. what happens if someone from the group decides not to continue after 1 year? is there an option to delete his data and give the slot to some new member?

The admin/main acc holder of Office 365 family version can revoke premium status of any of the other 5 invited accs. When that happens the revoked premium acc holder get a warning from MS to either purchase premium or download their data within 1 month I think before it is deleted by MS to keep it under 5GB free acc limit. Also, admin/main acc holder of office 365 family version cannot delete/access data of other 5 invited accs but there is no need either as admin can send invite to a new email for new member after revoking an invite earlier.
