Sharing net between pc and laptop

I havin a desktop pc and a laptop i bought a wireless router NETGEAR for wirless internet to laptop. i want to have internet to my desktop also. wat should i do.??
the router do not have any outgoin ports.
i used a splitter and tried to split the connection but of no use. either one of the connection cuts off.

provide a solution so that i can have internet in my pc and laptop

get a wi-fi pci adapter for your desktop...you can then wirelessly connect to your wi-fi router just like your laptop...a wifi pci adapter will cost u ~1-1.5k...u can either go for linksys/netgear...not sure whether we get buffalo pci adapters here in india...
