Shifting from sify to MTNL??Suggestions needed Kharghar

I've been really fed up with the sify broadband connection .... and am planning to change it, also is there any way to trick sify or blow up their servers or anything to damage sify as I'm really pissed with their connection as well as their service....

I'm having a night and weekends unlimited connection.... Torrents work pathetically as if they are blocked (2-12Kbps) where as BearShare works at 256KBPS [but I get maximum upload rate with torrents]. More than half of the time their server is down....for two months they even scammed me by changing my plan to 1gbdatauser(astonishingly worked extremely well till 1gb limit.

December will be my last month with sify after which I'll shift to MTNL.

(which plan should I go for?? 590UL??)

the plan name is 590 NU(night unlimited) + 80/- if u take their router 256k connection.. its recommended u go n buy a router rather than sticking with theirs
NU timings are 12am - 8am (as listed on site)
personal experience: 1am-7am (u can shedule the downloads no big deal )
after getting bugged by sify, irritated by pacenet (only in my current area) i switched over to MTNL, and having absolutely no troubles since 1 year

which router should I go for and will it be good enough for three years as I wont be changing my connection. I hope mtnl doesn't change their's as I've seen lan connection from mtnl too.

Also I really to do something to sify as I've nothin to loose and want to pay back ....I already tried to short the lan cable with a standard AC supply socket but all in wail nothing happenned...
