ship phones to West Bengal from other states

A friend wants to send me an iphone via bluedart and I am located in kolkata. He is in Chennai and says the guys at bluedart are asking for some form 48 or something of the sort from my side. Is there any courier service that can ship to west bengal without this form?

ask ur frnd to use Overnite Express.they hav a special service meant for only shipping mobiles.its called mobile express.
thgey u'll examine all contents in front of u & seal it & send it.if u declare the val of mobile to be above 3k then u'll hafta pay 2% as insurance charges.shipping charge will be like 275-300 bucks (if 3k or below).
just a few days ago i had shipped my Nokia 5800XM (declared its val as 2.8k.).

I got some stuff shipped in by Amarbir, no papers were filled but the material reached me safe and sound. I think he uses DTDC Air Cargo.
