I have 1.5 ton ( weight around 60-65 kg) which is lying idle. I want to send it to my native place in Jaipur from Mumbai.
I am really clueless on how to do ship the same as this would be door to door delivery.
Any suggestions?

Called them and they gave an approx quote of Rs 1500. Looking reasonable.

@honest1, Gati is infact is more reasonable than anyone else in shipping large packages, but there is a catch; you got pack your own stuff with the right kind of packaging material and necessary protection; even a complete cellophane wrapping, that transparent thin film sheet to protect again dust/rain.
Do bargain with the executive who comes to pick up the delivery, yes a little haggle can save some upfront!

Try any appliance shop, they normally have packing crates. Wooden crates ensure safety of the fins.

Visit any local appliance shop and tell them you want to ship your ac. They will definitely help you with similar size boxes. But you might have to pay for that some 100 bucks. But the package has everything you might need...thermacol, bubble wrap sheet (you can ask more of this) etc.

Thanks @nRiTeCh . Finally shipped it through packers and movers. They did the packaging and shipped it. Total damages of around 1800 bucks.

It was some local courier who took and delivered it.
