Conditions:
Offer valid form 1st October to 31st October 2011. The received date of the shipment should be 1st OCT to 31st OCT 2011 in our origin facility.
Offer only for standard shipping customers
Discount will be applicable on actual weight or average shipping weight of previous shipments which ever is lower
Discount will not be applicable on payments made online for the shipping charges

Some questions will be on most people's minds so I ask you first -

Origin facility - NY office or Indian office?

How do I avail this offer? Will the courier guy give me the discount or is it applied automatically?
 
Yes, even I have these questions. BTW, one of my consignment is on the way to US office from Amazon through normal shiping. Does it get 10% on the shipping which is 1.2USD?(considering 1LB weight)
 
I checked with Anuradha today. These are the details I have:

1) Discount is on the shipping PRICE, not the weight. ex: You get a shipment weight 540 grams. Normally that would be charged 18 USD + taxes. Under the scheme, it will be charged 18 - 5% = 17.1 USD + taxes

2) The discount amount would be the LOWER of the discount between the current and previous package. Let's take the second package. It should get a 10% discount. Let's assume the previous (first) package cost you 500 (pre-discount), and the second one cost you 1000 (pre-discount). You will get 10% off on the LOWER value, which in this case is the previous package. So you pay 1000 - 10% of 500 = 950 for the second one.

3) After the 10th package, the scheme restarts. So 11th package = 1st package = 5% discount. I told them it's a bad idea.

4) Only packages RECEIVED at their warehouse from the 1st of October are eligible.

5) Discount is applied by Aramex before delivery. This scheme canNOT be availed by paying online. It has to be a cash payment.
