Graphic Cards Shop for buying Graphic Card | Kolkata

I've *finally* decided to buy HD5670 512 MB DDR5 ~ 4.7k and FSP SAGA II 400W/GIGABYTE 460W PSU ~ 2k for myself.

Reference Thread.

I visited Chandni market, Kolkata yesterday but couldn't find a single seller for these two. :O

All what most of them had was HD 5670 1 GB DDR5 and none of the SMPS mentioned above. :(

Can anyone tell me an exact location/shop where I can buy these two for adequate prices. Please mention shop's mobile no. too if you have it.

U wont find any fsp psu over there..
I was on the same boat ur in now..And i was searching for the same combo..Budget was 5.5k+2.5k..Didnt want to buy online either..
Searched every reputed shop of chandni market..Most of them were like 'fsp what??'
..I even searched for zebronics pro series psu,but they only had platinum..I ended up buying a cx400 for 2.7k and very happy now..
Same for the gpu..They only had sapp and pwrcolor 5670 1gb for 6.2k odd (3-4month earlier..512mb was 5.3k then)
searched for 4770 and 4850..
They quoted 7-7.5k for 4770 and no 512mb 4850..Only 1gb for 6.8k supreme..
Ended up buying a 4830 (yes i wanted an ati card :p)
at the end of the day i overspent a little but very happy now..The gpu yes consumes more power but have huge oc potential..
Among good psu brands i only found corsair and cm..
So imho stretch ur budget a little and get a corsair if u dont wanna buy online..U wont regret it :)

Windows XP Professional

Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93 GHz

2 GB DDR 2 RAM

ASUS P5KPL-AM/PS motherboard

And secondly, suggest me a good SMPS around 2k(Cooler Master preferably) for that GPU, as I am unable to find FSP Saga II/Gigabyte's PSU. :(

yup it'll run smoothly

I suggest spending a bit more & buying a Corsair CX430 for 2.5-3k
 
1gb is a waste at 1024x768 res imho..
U can buy a 4670 512mb and spend the rest of ur money in a good quality psu..
Cm 350w falls within your psu budget but u can get way better psu spending a little more and it will give u a little more room if u decide to upgrade ur pc later..Say a better cpu or a better gpu without changing the psu..
I used the 4670 in a 15incher for more than a year now..It handles crysis wh in med high easily at that res.
 
I'll play at higher resolution.

Anyways, I checked out those shops yesterday, but again, all effort goes in vain. :-/

I am now open to buy the product online. Recommend me your best and reliable website where I can buy HD 5670 512 MB DDR5 and FSP Saga II 400W at best price.
 
it's not recommended to get FSP PSUs

they have some minor issues like

short cable length

less availability

difficult to find service centres

Rather invest on corsair CX400

Oh, on the side note : Completed Call of Duty : World at War last night. :cool2: Will try it out @ Veteran today.
