I had made payment at 2 pm for a usb wireless lan thru Credit Card & got a email from theitdepot.com at 4 pm

Dear Anirudha Sarawgi,

Thank you for placing your order . Your order is in "Awaiting payment" Status, Once we receive your payment we will process your order , It will be shipped to your delivery address.

In the mean time if you wish to change the method of payment you would like to adopt you can follow the steps below.
Login to our Website
Go to "My Account" and select "Order History"
You will be able to see an option called "Pay Now"
On clicking the same , will take you to the payment options page
You can try making your payment again.

We Capture your payment only after shipping the product, So at any case if your account is debited with the Paid amount , Please contact our customer service. We will be pleased to Help you out.

Why are they stating it as Awaiting payment n i have paid already thru Credit Card ? help me out.

This solves it i guess. Check with the customer care.
 
my order just disappeared from order history page after the paynow stage .
i mailed them about it and they said that the order is still in progress , the delay being due to backend office migration.

The idea is this:

Many online shops will block the payment amount on your card, but will not debit the payment (thus ur Credit limit will go down, though the amount will not be actually billed)

Once the items is shipped, the blocked amount will be debited, and if for some reason, the item cannot be shipped (e.g. ot of stock), the blocked amount will be released :)
 
anirudh just mail itdepot ur transaction id in case there is a problem , my problem got sorted out they will be shipping it tommorrow should reach me by monday.
