Bought a Surface Pro 4. I am in a dilemma whether to go for the type cover or not. Its $130 and does not serve any purpose other than that of a keyboard and maybe as a cover for the screen.
I got the keyboard dock for my TF300 tablet mainly because it provides a lot of additional capability like it extends the battery life by 4~5 hours, charges the tablet from its internal battery and offers a SD card slot and a USB port.
In case of SP4, I get nothing like that out of the type cover. I can always use a wireless keyboard. Can't seem to justify buying the type cover for $130. May be for $50~70 yes, but $130 is a lot of money.
