Should I Switchover & Try Reliance Broadnet Wireline ?

Hi Guys,

Airtel is my ISP since the last 4 years and presently on the Home 649 256kbps ( 512kbps 5GB FUP ) Plan.Earlier i was on the Home 999 384kbps Plan. I was quite happy that Airtel followed MTNL's league and doubled its speeds but turned sorrow with that crap 5GB FUP ! :@

Now , Reliance has come up with some interesting "REAL UL" Plans i.e no FUP.These are :
1. 600kbps @ Rs.649 P.M
2 600kbps Day & 1mbps Night @ Rs.749 P.M
3. 300kbps @ 400 P.M

Quite tempting and irresistible.

So what do you guys recommend , should i go in for Reliance Broadband based on your personal experiences or others advise ??

Main Concerns :

1. I reside in Faridabad i.e New Delhi NCR Region . So is the connectivity good and services prompt ?

2. Reliance uses a Online Logon's which automatically logs out after some inactivity. Can this be changed or the logons automated so that it doesn't disconnects itself ??

^ Yes , the website hasn't been updated but m sure abt the plans being offered in the Delhi & Punjab Circles. Dunno bout rest of india.

@ members , can i have some help please in deciding ??
 
Atleast in Pune, I can vouch for Reliance... along with many members who are using it and are satisfied. I've not faced any FUP issue till now. btw, I'm using the 1Mbps UL plan from Reliance.
 
If its true, then these are the best plans (even better than Airtel and MTNL)

@bbthumbhealer : I am from Delhi, and i would also like to switch to Reliance.
Could you tell me whom have you contacted for this.

Are you sure about these plans ?? Can you post a brochure picture or something !!

I need the 749 plan since beam has already killed my plans of 2mbps UL.
 
broadnet always ask u to login through browser...

so if ur computer restarts or stays idle or modem restarts u may need to manually login always through browser opening their login page.

i hate that thing !

Speed wise : I get 400 kbps full speed, i hate the service customer care etc.
 
Man price wise reliance is good but if ur lukin for after sales services then just forget u'll pull your hair out of your skull by your own hand while dealing with reliance customer care.:@

Also , 1mbps UL @ 1099/- is present.

can't this thing be configured in the modem like as in Airtel or say if this process can be automated so that is doesn't disconnects on its own ??
 
The Plans are absolutely correct. I called in the customer care and confirmed the same.
The guy was telling me the old plan. But I asked him to reconfirm if any new plan has launched. Then he told me about these new plans.

SO great news guys.... Finally Reliance is the race with Airtel , BSNL and MTNL
 
I would be taking up reliance.

I was looking for some good broadband service in DELHI..
Called the Airtel customer care and came to know that the area in which i live is not covered by Airtel.

I can't go for MTNL also because have to provide a lot of proofs like elecetricity bill, Govt residence proof which i dont have as i am living in some relative's house here which is vacant from a long time.

SO Reliance would be best. The Plans are also better than both.
 
I just called them up and they said that they have just added 300kbps @450pm. No 600 kbps connection had been added. Also 300kbps is for 450 pm and not 400.

I dont know why there are different replies for the same connection.

I am from Mumbai and the service is available.

Someone else please confirm the same aswell.

I was on 300kbps UL and just got shifted to 600kbps at 649 PM.
