Sidebar Gadget issue and Rainmeter

Ok techies....!

I installed some gadgets, and they were working just fine. Last night the progress bars disappeared. They are looking like this. Any way to rectify this. They look like cr$$ now.

The whole beauty is lost. The root files have the images there, but they are not rendering here.

Also:

Has any one used Rainmeter. Here is the link. How resource heavy is it. Looks nice.
 
Enable image display in IE.

Rainmeter is nice if you're OK with using someone else's pre-configured layout. There's no config UI and making your own layouts is a hassle.

Though I wonder how it got disabled on its own. When I installed the gadgets, they were initially working fine.
