I am looking for a new plan at my residence as Airtel sucks(Not cause the connectivity sucks but cause the suckers arnt providing me with a connection in my new locality... Suckers :@).

Now the *only* two choices i have is Sify & BSNL.

Which amongst two is better. I am already a BSNL user but i hate the Pings i get online. Downloading is not my thing, Online gaming is... Though i want the unlimited plan too :P...

So what will you guys suggest.

Pings > Downloads for me...
 
Iam in Sec 19B and have sify 256Kbps 1GB plan ... 505 Rs plan.

The cable operator is too :@ :huh:

Everytime i pay 667 for recharging and maintenance.

I have applied for Airtel now ... Dont know whether they will provide.
 
how many times did i tell you, take two sify plans, one night ultd and other basic 64 or 128 plan...

sify gives 60 pings to most ppl

yes i know, 256 ultd, 990, but upload capped at 64 :P no use for online gaming nor torrents

and pings will be more or less the same minus a few 10 ms max...
 
Take the normal unlimited plan which has 150 MB daytime limit (since you said you dont download). Pings should be almost the same for Noida and Hyderabad as Rave said.
 
believe me .. Sify wil make u pull the very last strand of hair on the head.. and wen u r done wid all of em .. u wont stop there..

(the noida customer care is as bad as it can be .. and as ur sector lies in the same operating region as mine.. count on the opinion m8 .. )
 
Sify itself has nothing to do with problems faced by sify.

Its almost always local network. And sify says it clearly on their website that last mile connectivity is cable operator's responsibility.

I would suggest tell your cable wala to take you to any customer who has sify. And check pings.

Sify wont be 100% reliable. But it has the best routing amongst the most other ISPs. Sify and MTNL triband are two operators who got their routhing on the spot. If it works it will give ya great pings. If it does not , it will drive you mad.

take a pick :P

Dataone/triband/airtel = more reliable.
