Sify has tied up with the Directorate of Examinations, Government of Tamil Nadu for announcing the Std. X Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and Std. XII Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) school examination results on its website.
The HSC results are expected on the 18th of this month, while the SSLC results will be declared by the end of May. Students can log on to results.sify.com for their results. TN Board HSC students can SMS 'EXAM' followed by their roll number to 4545, Sify's mobile short code to receive their results on their mobiles.
This year, Sify.com offers a 'pre-registration' facility for students to register for an 'Exam Result Mail' to be delivered to their Sify Mail inbox. Students can register by visiting results.sify.com and clicking on the link.
Commenting on this initiative Mr. Ajay Nambiar, Head Consumer Channels, Sify.com said, "Sify.com's education channel (sify.com/education) has always catered to the best interests of the student community. For the past two years, we have been hosting the TN board examination results, for both the SSLC and HSC, and have received an encouraging response from students and parents alike. We also hosted the results of the CBSE Std. X and Std. XII results in 2004."
To ensure timely access to the school examination results on the day of announcement, Sify has multiple web servers deployed for all result days.
