Well I ordered A Nikon coolpix L11 on sifymall on Dec, 6th and the payment was authorised. (By paymate gift vouchers, off course :) )

this is the mail confirming authorisation:

Now ever since that evening, I have not even been able to log in to my sifymall account. It now states an invalid ID/Password when I try logging in.
I am not sure if my order stands valid anymore, but I am sure I should have my consumer rights once an order was confirmed (After all it's not my fault if my friends decide to gift their vouchers to me). I talked to the sify customer care and he didnt seem to have a clue, though on quoting the Order number, He did confirm the payment authorisation and said that it would be shipped by monday/tuesday. I am not sure what to do, I just sent an email to customer care with details....could anyone advice me about what I should do in this regard ?

call up the customer care ..with u r order number..and fight with them...

tell them to deliver the product within next 2 days or to return the money..

thats what i did when they were taking long to deliver the camera i had ordered.

What does the "Concern team" mean .....did she just mistype the "concerned team" or is it a "Concern" that they're trying to resolve ?

Although I did order through paymate and practically paid nothing from my pocket, yet I am sure I can drag them to consumer court (If they refuse now) . Am I right ?

Please suggest me what to do in this regard .....
 
^^It was a grammatical error dude..He/She meant "Concerned team" ! And its not very clear from the chat that the will NOT ship your order till your account is active again.I would advice you to wait for 48 hours,and ask the status of ur order.And btw, you should have told them "I care a damn about the account.What matters to me is the delivery of my order"
 
Well my order was cancelled(nikon L10) saying address is not complete ....when I gave my full address.The refund has nt yet been done to my paymate account even after 4 days.(the CC told that it might take upto 7 days)

Looks like I will finally get my "Muft ka maal".......(fingers crossed) :) .................. BTW I wanted to know if sify guys
normally take this long to process the order ? Asking because Indiaplaza shipped my "Chameli" casette in 2 days !....
 
^ROFLMAO...chameli is out of stock in indiaplaza as i type this..:rofl: :rofl:

rediff took ~8 days to get my memory card shipped..:@...fookin thing is too expensive here in bangalore..
 
^^Yup,I had to wait more than 14 days to receive my pen drive from futurebazaar! That totally sucked!!

I helped a friend order a camera from Sifymall on Friday, March 23rd this year. It was delivered to his office on Monday March 26th.
My Transcend T630 got to me from Sifymall in about 3 to 4 days in August.
Both these were in Mumbai.
 
my friend had to wait for 2 weeks for his se phone to arrive from mumbai - mumbai.

my play-asia package came to me in around 5 days flat from HK - mumbai :D howz that??
 
Actually I too can not login into my account after ordering stuff through paymate. I ordered two items, one is already shipped, waiting for other one.

And no clue about why i cant login coz even after resetting my assword it aint working.

So, dear arjun, have patience, the problem is with their own systems (I don't think sify has a server at my "location" )

BTW folks, how can I track the status of this order at the First Flight page ?
The only info that I have is the Airway Number and the Dispatch Date :) .....

After all, I am sure I'll finally get the cam :D

lol... nice use of paymate.. My orders got cancelled twice when I tried paymate, in the end I bought movie tickets :D
 
^^ My Nikon L11 Was worth Rs. 5475 on sifymall. :D (Not recieved it yet though, pro'lly because of sunday.)
