Dear Members,

It has been observed over the past few days that there have been numerous signature rule violations by members (most notably in terms of size). We kindly request you to check your signatures and make sure they conform to the rules listed below:

  6. TechEnclave.com already has to display ads to cover the running costs, so don't further annoy our members by making your signature some sort of a web ad (i.e. Advertising in your signature is not allowed). We only allow links to non advertising personal websites or blogs. If you are posting such links in your signature then please make sure you have only one outgoing link. The Staff of TechEnclave.com hold the right to judge if a link in your signature is allowed or not.
  7. Your signature may not advertise or link to a competing site or an alternative to TechEnclave.com. Staff will take action against any offending signatures we may see.
  8. This is not an open directory, if you love xyz.com then good for you, we dont want to see it here, this is not an tech advertising site! You may contact the administrators for an affiliate program or for advertising on TechEnclave if you are the administrator of the site in question.
  9. For Avatars: Up to 100 pixels wide, 100 pixels tall and 25KB in size.

Please note that members have 24 hours to ensure their signatures are in-line with the guidelines above. Any members found violating the rules even after this, shall be issued a warning/infraction apart from having their signatures taken down.

Once again the link to the signature rules and guidelines is: http://www.techenclave.com/rules.php#Section_3

Thank you for your co-operation.

TechEnclave.com Staff.

According to Te new rules size of Sigs and Avatars has been increased :

2. We've decided to increase the allowed file sizes for avatars and signatures though no changes have been made to the already existing dimensions. The allowed file size for a signature has been increased to 50KB and that for avatars have been increased to 25KB.

3 lines is the maximum the signature system allows in techenclave's vB installation. And I am able to occupy the max with my current signature with tiniest font(and violating the rules having a smiley as well as 3rd line...... would like to continue to, unless heavily enforced :( ):

(perhaps lines can be font size dependent?)

A very old thread, but needed a much deserved bump.... there it goes up there.
