simply replacing HDD by opening the backpanel voids warranty ? or adding extra RAM ? I think they have Seal on it.
Replacing the RAM and HDD does not void warranty. Most brands even have a step by step guide on their website on how to do it. I had replaced the RAM myself on my Acer and Dell laptops in past and had later claimed warranty on both of them without any issues. The dell did not have a seal on the cover but the Acer did. That seal was just for show I think.

The prices of the internal HDD are same as the externals. Why is it so??

I am just asking coz i want an internal HDD for my lappy and they cost same as the external ones..

Also if i buy an external hdd can i break the outer cover and use the extracted HDD as internal?? I am getting 500 GB external at lower price than the internal ones....

Sorry to post in the wrong thread but since you discussed the HDD prices i thought i might ask you...
IINM once you open the casing of the external HDD the warranty is void/
