Whoa! Looks like the movie got some great comments..but just 1 small doubt,I saw a trailer in gamespot..but I got confused if tht was the movie or a new silent hill game..cause it looked too good to be a game.

The question is - are those reviews by fans of the video game? I mean, people liked the doom movie too, but each and every one of those persons was an fps fan.

^^ well not really........the ratings given in IMDB are by movie goers most of the time and doom did not get a good rating here is the url for it -:

The movie is going to be good. The director pointed out what went wrong with other game based movies. He said the atmosphere from the games, is more important than characters from the games. Thus, the movie really doesn't have any characters based from the games but it will sure look like the games.

Btw, its loosely based on Silent Hill 2, and yes Pyramid Head is in the movie. For those who don't know who he is, he's a boss in SH2 that rapes monsters....

When was this movie released?

I couldn't get any VCD or DVD..Hell! I was so desperate I even checked for the *ahem* version and still no luck.

On seeing the reviews,I can't wait..

Btw,wht was the trailer tht was shown on the gamespot which had the name silent hill..I saw it,but I still can't figure out if it's a movie or a game.
