Simple way to check my BSNL 3G balance?

Hi,
Till recently I've been checking my BSNL 3G prepaid connection balance through my friends phone.I myself only have a Datacard and a 2G phone so I can't check.So as the title says is there a simple way to check how much data usage I have left.
A google search didn't help me out much so hopefully there are some TE guys who've found a way....

Which datacard is that?

Some dashboards and modems support USSD commands, some also show real time data usage.
