Packet tracer by cisco aint bad either.

get Dynagen from Main.

Loads real Cisco IOS. You can as many routers on single m/c depending on your RAM and CPU.

I have 1.7Ghz PIV 1gb RAM. I have tested 5 routers simultaneously.

IOSHunter - search and download ios images for cisco routers and switches
download the software...trial version...download a 7200 or a 3600/2600 series ios...and use it in your ios menu in gns3...

guy's i am having trouble using boson netsim i m not able to create any vlans on switch see am i doing it right

s1(config)#vtp mode transparent

s1(config)#vlan 11

than it show's that market incorrect error

and while using ? it doesn't shows vlan command

i am using 2950 switch

try going into interface and put #switchport access vlan 11

guy's problem resolved the vlans can be created in enable mode
s1#vlan database
s1(vlan)#vlan 11

GNS3 makes your system get slow.... dint find any better than Packet tracer
