Sine wave inverter

Required a sine wave inverter with battery for my place. Main requirement will be 1pc + 3cfl lamps + 3fans.

Backup should be around 4-5 hrs. Can someone suggest something within my budget of 25k.

Thanks in advance.

Im using Luminous Sine Wave inverter (1500VA) in UPS mode ... It runs my PC, 40" Led TV, 5.1 HT, 2 Fans and 4 cfl bulbs for 4-5 hours easily ... Batteries used are 150Ah x 2 ...

I have a sukam , i dont even have to put it ups mode , even in normal mode it is able to provide backup to my download rig

^ Its better you use it in UPS mode, since its output is less regulated in normal mode and could spell trouble to your rig especially if it has Active PFC PSU ...

for your requirement, an 850VA inverter and one 150AH tubular battery is more than enough. the inverter will be around 5500 and battery will be around 14000 + around 17% tax (vat+sales tax etc). it should come around 22 to 23k max. wiring is no big deal if you are an electronics engineer. these guys usually take 1500 for wiring, and dont do a good job of it too. they do it halfheartedly and just leave.

Whats the price of the battery any idea.
I got Luminous 150Ah Tubular battery for 10k each inc tax , but that was three years back ... The inverter dealer did wiring at my place without any extra charge, which is expected since you are buying 20k+ worth goods from him ...

I have almost the same stuff on inverter as you, got Sukam Shiny 850VA + Exide 150AH Tubular for 22k (wiring was separate 1000/-).
Your backup will depend on how much power your PC draws, I've used my PC for 2 hours on inverter without any issues (browsing / TV using tuner card) but I wouldn't try playing Crysis on it :)

Sukam Shiny 850VA (2 yrs warranty) + Sukam 150AH Tall Tubular (4 yrs warranty) + Trolley
PAID 19500 Rs

Installation - 1000 Rs with very good wiring + two way switches.
