Well I am a JTO Joined this company in their first Direct Recruitment ie 2001. Let me tell you some facts.
--> The work culture of BSNL is not at all improved from that of DOT period even after 5 years of its birth.
--> There is no concrete HR Policy in BSNL till this date.
--> The promotional aspect of a Junior Engineer Joining this company is still unknown.
--> The Job Satisfaction in this company is a dream.
--> Around 80% of the staff in BSNL are sleeping always, but prompt for any agitation relating to their salary or benefits.
--> The top management of this company has no concern over its growth. They still are not opted to JOIN this company. They are SERVING this company on deputation from DOT.
--> There are a number of associations and unions of promotees (old DOT staff), who are manupulating every nook and corner of BSNL administrative offices.
--> The staff motivation in this company is a BIG ZERO.
--> The JTOs joined in 2001 has not get their confirmation yet.
--> Around 50% of JTOs posted in other circles in their first posting are not yet transferred to their native circle.
