hi graphic gurus
i bought a new MSI K9N4 sli mobo ,with it i got a sli bridge,but my existing GFX the 7300 GS (stop laughing:@ ) supports sli but it has no connector for the sli bridge! :huh:
also now a days GFX cards need an extra PCI-E Power connector well my CM Extreme 600wts has one (even it supports Sli) if i put two such GFXs then ill need two right!

so how do i set up a sli on this board it has an extra 4pin power socket for powering the PCIe
temme plzzzzzz

hey shrex congrats for the new board , if i am not wrong u had issues with asus, rite!what happened to that?

I think 7300GS has too low a bandwidth to be needing a bridge for SLI. You just have to plug in two cards and enable SLI mode through the drivers. As for PCIe power connectors you can always use molex to PCIe converters that come with virtually every graphics card that requires extra power.

You don't need an SLI bridge to run 2x7300GS in SLI.

Even when running 2x6800Ultra in SLI, removing the bridge had only a 10% reduction in score. :)

And the 7300GS doesnt need extra power also, but some motherboards do have an extra molex connector (like the ASUS A8N-SLI) which can be optionally connected for extra juice for the cards that need them (say if u r running 2x6600GT in SLI)

@Himanshu thanks yaar
only one drawback
very very poor board layout
im waiting for my 667 modules
damn the asus guys are delaying even for the credit note i guess ill send em a registerd post
