Guys,
This is to inform you all that we are aware of the slow speeds and the database errors that TE is experiencing for the past few days. We are trying to solve this issue as soon as we can giving it our highest priority.
Please bear with us over the next couple of days. We will give you an update on this within a day or two.
 
Just an update. We are looking to upgrade the server and expect the entire process to complete by the end of this month. So only about a week of agony left.

PS: The newer servers are at least 3 times faster.
 
As Renegade said above, the server migration will be starting from this 28th July (Thursday) till 31st July (Sunday) . TE will be experiencing some issues during this time, chances are that it'll be very slow or totally down.
 
All that was needed to prepare for a server upgrade has been done. We will be moving sometime today and the forum might go offline for around 30 minutes.

Those who are at home may like to utilize this time and clean their rooms a bit and those who are in office may like to work for a change. :bleh:
