Slow speeds of BSNL Home 500

Hi all,

I am using the BSNL Home 500 Night UL plan for the last year or so. Previously even tho the speed that I wud get on torrents was slower than the ones I would get on megaupload or other file servers but atleast it was consistent and I could d/w arnd 1-1.3 GB on an avg.

But these days I am getting very inconsistent speeds on torrents. I cud only dwnld 500-600 mb. I have attached the scrn shot of the conn details. Can anyone go thru them and say if they are ok or not?

i m also getting very inconsistent speed on torrents even with high seeds. in megaupload on change observed.

the less speed that u get is just on download through torrentz o any download like ftp n http??

Speed on ftp is total crap. At torrents the speed fluctuates from 40-50 to 0. These days I am not able to download anything from rapidshare as the connection breaks before the dwnd completes and I have to restart it.

I have also noticed it takes a long time 4-5 min to get connected to net after switching on the modem. Surfing in general is also slow and becomes impossible when the dwnld meter reaches 0 kb/s.

Can you guys look at the numbers in the attached pix of my 1st pic and tell me if these figures are ok or not ????
