I'm looking for something to stick to the door frame of my flat's main door, just besides the lock, so that I don't have to hunt for the keyhole in the dark... There is a light in the hall but it's usually blocked by the person opening the door, and it's a common area so can't replace/install more lighting there.

Do any products like this exist? Something about 1-2 inches in length with a few LEDs, that has a self-contained power source and doesn't need to be hooked up to either mains or a USB port etc.?

Use the flashlight on your phone. Fastest method I've used till now.
Thanks so much, that had not occurred to me at all /s

Thanks. This is not ideal since it's USB charged, but still led me to some other products.
This oxyled one would be ideal https://www.amazon.in/dp/B06XW9TW2R
But since it's a US brand way too expensive. Considering this or this now, but I feel that 3 AAA batteries is too much; the oxyled product only uses 1.

how about a Led key chain ?
It's an option, but I have a single key I carry so rather not have the added bulk of a keychain.

Appreciate the responses, however, please help with product suggestions rather than other solutions to the problem than the one I'm going for.

You can look up cabinet lights or indoor car lights if you need something bigger. They are usually either battery operated or rechargeable.

Or even the light emmited by the phone's display will be enough in you case. Or you can put some glow in the dark tape around the keyhole.
Or may be go with this suggestion and put couple of glow in the dark stickers or paint around the key hole.
If you are fan of The Lord of the Rings series, you get to have your own Doors of Durin :)
