Not at all, I just got an iPhone myself and I can tell you that surfing in Safari and gaming is a pleasure with the multitouch.

Omnia HD is too big physically. I'll steer way clear of it.

I had a HTC Hero, have listed some comments based on your requirements :)

GPS - works well. used very sparingly

great Camera - Camera is good but slow. Low light you will seriously suffer.

Document reader/editor (must) - no idea, never checked. but i'm sure there will be apps to cover that even if the softwares are not present.

e-mails/exchange sync (for office mails) - HTC Mail is present. although I never used it.

good sound output - good enough for me

needs to be fast (fast processor).. Futuristic (like to keep phone for long.. so a phone which can be used for next 2-3 years) - its good and fast :P
 
Watched couple of videos on youtube by "pocketnowvideo" on Samsung B7610 OmniaPro.. and seems i am getting drifted to this phone... As said in first post.. this is a great value to money phone. Read mixed reviews about its Camera and Speaker, apart from that, have not heard much bad about this phone..

I confirmed about the price at nearby shop and getting it for 22k..

Any comments or suggestions on this??
