I can't believe my eyes... :O LIano has launched in india way before than anyother country...

@SMC

Nice pricing

So now people from US will be searching for services like Shop n' Ship to get their Llano bundles from India :D... Brilliant!

^^ AMD Turbo Core is a boosting technology similar to Intel Turbo Boost, depending on processor load and power saving options the processor will self over-clock to a certain preset level till demand is there and then on lighting of load will return to stock levels -- AMD's Turbo Core Technology | PC Perspective

Hope this answers your query.

Nice nice but a bit pricey "3850"...... i3-2100 comes for 5.9K and an entry level H61 "gigabyte" costs 3.6K

Will wait for them prices to come around 5.5K still waiting for some laptops to show up need a good laptop for work....

EDIT: If you get any llano laptops do let me know........

^^ Llano based laptops were launched before their desktop brethren, but as usual adoption has been slow and will take quite some time to register in the Indian market scenario.

As well as Intel H61 chipset from my point-of-view is worse than my current AMD 785G chipset. It simply doesn't have enough connectors (I/O as well as parallel standard) and features to justify the price tag a ASUS / Gigabyte AMD 760G chipset comes with better connector specifications.

^^ The i5 looses and your stark stunning bonkers, the A8-3850 leads in only graphics benchmarks, raw CPU performance favors the Intel Core i5 2400 / 2500, in fact AMD struggles in single-threaded applications compared to Core i3 2100, but due to aggressive pricing and great IGP, the AMD A8-3850 / A6-3650 are a boon to those who are interested in building low-end gaming / HTPC set-ups.

Here is a match-up -- AnandTech - Bench - CPU -- Core i5 2400 pummeling the A8-3850.

AnandTech - Bench - CPU -- Core i3 2100 and A8-3850 getting even.
