It would be much better to travel in Bus now.

I never knew you can smoke inside a bus, in Pune. At least for the time I've been there, never came across this. At least here in Mumbai, Smoking in Bus, Train is strictly prohibited since the time I've been traveling.

Or was the statement just for heck of throwing in the flow?

Why dont you guys take it as a chance to leave this filthy habit??

I think once these ppl are concentrated to areas singled out for them, they wil realize they are alone and to get back in the social, they wil have to leave smoking or end up sitting alone..

All this provided they implement it well..

well, this ban may not help smokers as such...those who wanted to quit will do it without ban...

however i think it will help to discourage new smokers being formed to some extent....many of us started smoking on roadside chaiwallas and pubs...used to smoke only at these spots...it become a habit much later

Can't understand why so many people crib about the ban. If everyone had the courtesy to smoke without troubling others in a public place, then it would be fine. I've had it with smokers puffing away in glory even when others object, and at the cost of others. I, being an asmatic patient have really suffered a lot at many places(even with friends sometimes)Lets see if this ban puts things in order.
