SMS Limit raised to 200 per day - Airtel still at 100

So the SMS limit has been raised by TRAI for all operators since yesterday i.e. November 1st.

My friends on Voda and Docomo and Reliance have already got sms confirming the same.

Meanwhile, Airtel is a b**ch. I hit the 100 sms ceiling yesterday night. Okay, forgiven.

Thought it's 200, hit the 100 sms ceiling in the middle of the day.

Touch luck eh, to think AIRTEL implemented the 100 sms day limit 2 days early. Seriously, this company should die.

Meanwhile, HURRAY! 100 sms was far too less!

I just crossed hundred, then after a few more, got a bunch of sending failed.

Checked my balance and found that stupid airtel is charging for texts after hundred. And they still charging the same amount for the booster. Is it only so airtel? Or are all service providers charging for above hundred?

asking this cos I never cross 50 sms in a month! and whatever I send across is football scores to a friend when he's not able to watch a game...thats about it!

I always blacklist spam SMS senders on my Motorola Defy with the Handcent SMS app.

postpaid is 6k per month i believe, 200 per day is prepaid
