* Added support for Windows Vista.
* Added MS Office outputs for MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Added support for adding, managing, and removing new SnagIt accessories (outputs, inputs, filters, etc.)
* Added callout styles: plain, shaded, and glassy.
* Enhanced the print setup dialog and print preview.
* Enhanced printing quality and ease-of-use to approximately print images as they appear on the screen.
* Fixed the issue where SnagIt appears to stop responding during object capture with PowerPoint.
* Fixed a problem with installing and using the SnagIt Printer on a Terminal Server Environment.
* Fixed a crash bug when saving multiple images to a PDF.
* Fixed the issue where vector objects were not moving when using the Join command.
* Dropped support for Windows 98 and Me.

these things are very useful . i remember making an entire video compression tutorials on it . it was a different software i remember . best of all it allowed export of the video files compressed by the codec of your liking . this " snag it" however allows only its proprietary codecs from what it seems ,
 
Been using Snagit since 2000 at least and it's the best by a few miles... although I still use 6.0 because it has so much flexibility (also because it's paid for and I don't want to upgrade :D). Share, you gotta try Camtasia - you will be blown away ;)
 
Thanks RiO for bringing it to my attention , let me take it for a test drive ... i am looking to recreate my tutorials again for TE . lets see if that works out :)
