Software Problem HTC Touch HD (T8282)

My friend is recently facing some software issues with his HTC touch HD (T8282) purchased from Europe last year.

The exact problem:-

He is unable to update the software from India, the software is i guess country specific, every service center is refusing to update it, it is not avaialable here in India.

Any help would be appreciated.

just register on xda-developers and then download a rom of your choice for your device. Then flash it. Its as easy as this.
